Mr. Bertin acquired the assets of Johnson Soils Engineering Company in 2005 to form Johnson Soils Company, Inc. He is also founder and president of a separate civil engineering consulting firm that was started in 1986 and has offices in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Mr. Bertin has a wide range of experience in the engineering field relating to land development and industrial systems, and has participated in a variety of projects throughout the northeastern United States and elsewhere in the world. He has also published articles and lectured at seminars on environmental regulations, underground storage tanks and land development practices.

Mrs. Mahle-Greco is the president and engineering manager of Johnson Soils Company. She is a third generation geotechnical engineer, following in the foot paths of her father and grandfather. Mrs. Mahle-Greco truly has a lifetime of experience, having been exposed to the field from childhood. She also has in her own right a wide range of experience in the geotechnical engineering field and has participated in a wide variety of projects. She has worked on over 3,000 projects over throughout the NJ/NY metropolitan area in diverse geologic conditions ranging from mountainous regions to the meadowlands to the area along the Hudson River.

Mr. Burns is an associate engineer and project manager at Johnson Soils Company. He was born, raised and educated in Central Florida by a family of public school teachers. He has a unique and varied background as a consulting geotechnical and civil engineer, a sales engineer, a personal trainer, and an endurance sport coach. He has experience in a wide variety of geotechnical construction projects and project roles. He’s worked on hundreds of projects throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, and the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area. Before joining JSC, he practiced as a geotechnical Professional Engineer for eight years in the challenging and demanding setting of New York City.

Mr. Brimo is an Associate Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager at Johnson Soils Company. He was educated in the Middle East (BSC), Germany (PhD) and Australia (MIS) and has an extensive over 30 years’ experience in the civil (including solar energy projects) and geotechnical engineering fields in the United States, Australia, the Middle East and Africa. He has Proven abilities in exceeding Client/Project expectations and providing optimum solutions with respect to design, construction, and closure topics. His major areas of expertise are: Geotechnical and geophysical investigations and inspections, deep and shallow foundation designs, earth retaining structures, dewatering, and underpinning, slope stability of dams, and highways pavement design and tunnel monitoring instrumentation. Mr. Brimo is client-focused with highly developed interpersonal, leadership and management skills with an active Australian chartered professional engineering license and several publications.

Mr. O’Dowd has over forty years of experience in various areas of geotechnical engineering. The projects vary in size from small residential housing to mid-rise apartment building and commercial buildings. He has provided engineering solutions to onsite problems to remedy the situation quickly and efficiently. Project development includes subsurface exploration programs, field and laboratory testing, foundation and retaining wall design, rock cliff stabilization program and construction inspection and monitoring.
